Another former race horse, Atlas had come to his last home intended for English riding lessons and showing. But it’s now clear he shouldn’t be ridden due to prior injuries. His former owner says, “It is our hope that Community Horse Sanctuary will be his forever home as he has been passed around a lot and not always treated well.”
He’s a very friendly horse and spent the summer in the original neighborhood pasture home with Sara and Sylvester. They were not very kind to him initially, but gradually he won them over.
